What is the stats on card that will work in the N.A market? CApt H said just the 102 will work. Does any body have an idea if other cards will work in fta units (and or ) sub type units? thanks

Well that's not exactly what I said..I said that the rom102 is the only card that will be reliable for awhile.Below I will post a rundown of cards in use in the North American market.

Here's a card list:

rom2
rom3
rom10
rom11
rom110
rom101
rom102
rom103
S0 Series
rom10X to rom11/10/3/2
cardless IRD


There are also other non-plastic things in use:

AVR-X
Atmega128
Armulator
Nexxus modded
Syndrome
EMU


You can basically forget about all cards except the rom102,103 and S0 Series.
Also you can basically forget about ALL the non-plastic fixes (They go down when FTA's go down)


As far as receivers you can probably forget about most of them except for maybe the dreambox (since it's a linux box there are some things that can be done)
Most FTA receivers rely on the loading of .bin files meaning that when things go down you have to wait for a fix. That means waiting for someone to re-dump a subbed card including the "map" and you could be waiting awhile.

Best bet is to go on flea-bay or a reputable site and grab yourself a rom102 card and a Dishnetwork receiver that can be modded so you can use the 102 with a "blocker"

Hello, first thing I need to ask is if you guys cards are "married" to the receiver (ex-sub) or whether the card was obtained and receiver were gotten seperately. It does make a difference as to how you continue with "popping" the card. We can not go any further untill this is answered.

Bell expressvu is now down 100%, unless you are using a rom102 card.

The only card that work right now is rom 102 all others are down.

I hear the armulator has a private fix for the map call routine. Is this true? or can this be a market selling thing?

The fix never did work and the armulator is dead. It will probanly remain that way
