Softcam works with: MGCAMD and RADEGAST !!!
NO NEWCAMD ! For this EMU you need : Keylist,ppua,rsakeylist,tpscrypt and nagraroms.

G*OX does not work with Softcamkeys !!!
There are the nagra keys, roms-files and "viaccess, biss, crypto, irdeto, seca"-FILES with them this CAM work!
Also you need for example a special key-crypt representation like :

SoftCam.key seems to load with upgrade34 on STARTSAT SR-X1700D?

For y, does softcam.key compatible with STARSAT?

Please tell me also how i can add BISS key in this receiver?

You have to named like YOU want this file. For example: Softcam.Key !
So when you copy a updated Softcam.Keys with the FTP program on your Dream you have to take care to have the same name like that file inside your Dream.
If not it will create a parallel softcam.key this is not so well !!!

Hi,i am new with the key job and i want to ask a few questions.I have a dreambox 500s and i use softcam keys from the upload center to unscramble TPS and D+(taquilla,c+deporte etc..) and they work,but i can never open providers like AFN or CANAL+(NBA+,canal+hi-tech,canal+sports)or sex view channels and i am afraid i am doing something wrong.I am on Hotbird13 and astra 19,2 because i am in greece.I have CCcam as an emulator.Can someone tell me how to open those channels or how to use the keys because i am newbie.The only thing i do right,is to put in the var/keys directory the softcam keys.I tried to put Camd3,keys in there but nothing happened.I also copy,for example nagra key from the upload center for a channel,i pasted the key from the txt and then i did edit in the softcam key,replace the key for the same channel that was there,but nothing happened again???)
Shall i have to change my emulator to use camd3.keys?I dont know the procedure(the directories and etc).
Sorry for my too many questions and for my bad english but i need help.

I have the same problem.I have install Gemini 3.40 images.Whan i transfar softcame keys through DCC in var/keys nothing open in mgcomd or any other cam.Kindly guide in brief that how can i install softcam key file in my Dreambox 500s.
