View Full Version : Optus D1 Latest Updates. happyhound 10-09-2006, 01:34:01 Optus D1 is supposed to be launched on 19th September 2006. This the platform NewZealand freeTV will be using for NZ TV-1 2 3 and other channels not yet stated. Probably these will NZ beam only. Lets hope it makes into orbit. Anybody that has any more on this lets Know. Good news Optus D1 has finished testing at 164E and is slowly on its way to 160E. It should arrive around mid next week. Then the next step is the transition of services from B1 to D1.
