:-) I have just received an e-mail saying that i had not logged in for over 2 months - this came as a shock as I did not realise so much time had passed!

I am very impressed by this site but my main enemy is time - as I am a very active member of another Forum where I have been a Moderator for the last 2 months, time is in short supply!!

But I hope to continue visiting and making some contributions when I can!

As introductory background, I am 48, married, with 2 teenage daughters and I live in Lancashire in N-W England.....apart from one enforced break for financial reasons from Feb. 2002 to July 2004, I have been into multi-satellite TV as my main hobby since June 1997 and the good old days of Eurotica-Rendezvous and TV1000 etc. in D2Mac!!:-)

So I remember the golden year of 2001 when 100s and 100s of channels were available for part or all of that year in Irdeto and Viaccess and Seca - no "2" versions defying hacking in those days!!

Still plenty to watch now though in the days of 6-in-1 cams, loader cards and proggers and digitAlb cards etc. etc.!!

My equipment in outline consists of Triax 1.1M dish, .3db Invacom LNB, 140-deg Moteck mount, Xtreme-Hornet receiver with PVR, Dynamite progger and lots of cams and cards - some more useful than others!!

Many thanks to you both for your welcomes!!......as to my username of princecharles, that is an affectionate "fun" name given to me by my very good friend and princess, Oliviaaaaaaa del Rio (now sadly retired - at least temporarily - from the world of XXX movies!).....I had an e-mail from her last week beginning "Thank you my lovely Prince Charles" - gives you some idea of the background!...she is my overriding obsession, then multi-satellite, football, French language and literature and history, internet surfing, fishing and country walking.......

I am very honoured and flattered by your suggestion that I should become one of your team of moderators, but feel that I must first "work my passage" for a few months by at least visiting and contributing fairly regularly - at the end of several such months, you may have changed your mind - only joking on the last part!!

But I hope to become more active here as time permits!
