I 'd like some help cause i 'm all new to this.

Here is my receiver:

Ver: ARS1
Model: S810CI

AUC Info
Model: Af-8100CI
SW Vers: SPC A6825 S810CI nc
UI Type: GP1.3

Apart from downloading the latest available receiver SW that i find for my model, i do nothing else on the receiver (i know, i'm tragic). I 've got an Irdeto cam, a Funcard, the Infinity USB Phoenix (for the cards), an RS-232 cable to connect the receiver on the PC and looots of receivers' programs. What can i do with these stuff in order to "play" with my receiver and get more "options" and channels?

I see all around the forums keys, .ird, editors, loaders, etc. and i feel so stupid cause i don't understand a thing! Could someone give me in simple words the basic steps, the possibilities of what can be done on the receiver and with which programs and files?

Which files should i use and with which programs, firstly to keep my receiver up-to-date and secondly to unlock several channels?

Which is the latest boot SW for Arion AF-8100CI and what firmware should i load to it then?
